Happy Teachers' Day!!

A day that students will really show their appreciation. Irony.. shoudnt they show it everyday? Haha

Well i enjoyed myself yday.. cos i received presents? Not so much of that actually. Enjoyed cos i need not teach, cos i get to play captain's ball and cos it is the last day for term 3! Oh and coz of the dinner.

Here's what i've got fr the kids:








Actually i yearn for cards.. i like to read how the kids feel. But too bad.. i din get many cards that r filled with writings of their own. Oh and one more gift i would like is those soft toys flower.. so cute!!!!! the sunflower.. the rose hahahaa. ok childish. All in all, i think all of us prefered handmade gifts. Really much more meaningful n memorable!

My most practical gift is this thermal flask... very nice. colourful stripes with red base! small handy n it comes with a bag. haha BUT i dont know when n where to use it.

Had this teachers-students game.. i participated in captain's ball and insisted to be the ball catcher! Had a gd game though i dont know all the kids. The teachers' team won champion! And here's my medal..

Went on stage to receive prize.. quite malu :p

Back to gifts.. im quite touched by some gifts. Got this boy.. he was suspended so cannot come sch. but he took the effort to buy me a box of rocher, passed to his friends to pass it to me. I tot it was a trick.. tt's so mean of me. I felt so touched.. cos i dont even teach him this yr..

Another girl wrote me a long card.. she wrote abt a few of my encounters with her ever since jan. I din know that such small actions will motivate her tt much. Though i dont know if it is 100% true or not.. i enjoyed reading.

Another boy used Coreldraw [a program which i taught e class] to draw me the graphic below..


I doubt i can produce this. It must have taken him hours to do so.

Last one is the sms-es.. esp those from kids of my 2 previous schools. And they r the more mischievous ones. That's y i appreciate even more. Some of my friends also sms me.. which is also meaningful actually. :p

Some ex-students came back n it was a great joy to see them once again. Hearing them addressing me as ms gina or lao shi makes me feel so good.. i miss them so much.

Eh the lunch was crap la. But dinner was good. At Roland. Good coz we get to choose who to sit with. I sat w my usual gang.. and we were far more noisier than other tables. Laughing like no one's business. The food was quite good too.. Jokes were the best. Oh and i smsed my colleague [who is sitting faraway] throughout the dinner hahaa.. quite DUH right.

The dinner brought back many memories.. i miss the last yr's dinner, when pam jiejie n jeff were around with us. I miss them the most. Hope the friendship last. :p
