感触多多

Ya, this is probably the 5th time im saying all these...

The thought of having the LAST lesson with them makes me feel down. The thought of not being able to teach them again makes me upset. The thought of not being able to chat with them and laugh at their jokes really makes me sad.

As i tell 4t2 "class, tmr will be our last lesson" ... there's a lot of flashbacks in my mind. Scenes of them making me angry.. making me frustrated.. making me happy. Scenes of me motivating them, screaming at them, praising them, talking sense into them. Scenes of them trying to irritate me, trying to cheer me up, trying to get my attention and trying to impress me. Scenes of them chasing one another, scenes of them trying to be funny, scenes of them playing tricks on one another.

i knew these kids since they were in sec 1. And i taught them for close to 3years. i know them inside out. I see them grow up and getting slightly more matured. I see them get into trouble and i see them changing for the better. And this year, i see most of them trying to study hard and do well in their studies.

I thought i should be used to all these "graduating" issues but somehow i still cant bear to see them leave. I do not know if i have made a difference in their lives.. but they certainly have left some footprints in mine. That's probably one of the joys in being an educator.

Today, i went to pass nic some revision papers. He was very appreciative and he kept thanking me. I looked at him and in my mind.. i really tried to think what more can i do to help this boy. He's a smart boy but sometimes impulsive and tends not to consider about the consequences of his actions. And he is a sweet and respectful boy. When i first heard of him, i didnt really have a good impression of him but after teaching him for like 9 months, i find him a joy to teach. Perhaps to others, he is someone who always cant be bothered and someone who doesnt care about the rules.. but i dare to say.. if he knows where you are coming from and if he knows you do things because you care, this boy here will definitely do it just for your sake.

Same goes to wy, immature as he may be.. he is a sweet boy who cares for people who are nice to him. Smart but lack of self confidence. Sometimes i feel quite useless as im unable to get him to build up his confidence. He is afraid of failures and hence refuses to try. A couple of times, he told me he will do it for my sake. And i remember them all. And i hope he will do it once again for the upcoming exams. Havent seen him for two weeks? haix. i wonder how he is now. I guess i better give him a call tmr. :)

Last but not least, RiYu. He made my day. I saw him doing Amaths on his own after school today. Though his friends were all there doing their Art, our playful RiYu managed to sit down next to them, and focus on his work. Talked to him via msn. He has really settle down and is now much more focused on studies. I know he wants to do well now, and i really hope to see him in 5N next year. Such little actions from him really motivates me to do even more for him. I'm now so energized to spend more time with him to do Maths! :p

Anyway, YA, 我真得很舍不得他们走... :(

Shopped but we didnt drop!

Fun fun trip today because i need not drive! Haha thanks kelvin for driving us there! He didnt buy anything i think... ros and i bought quite a lot? Ok la, not a lot. xiaoting is the best.. she did mobile shopping. :p

You know .. girls being girls... and me being me... everytime i buy a skincare product, i will just feel that OH my complexion is going to get better (even if i didnt even start using) and because of this.. i always ended up buying and buying but didnt really use the product! Bad bad...

That lady commented that the side of my face seems a little dry.. maa de. time to take good care of it le. And so, i make sure that i apply ALL my moisturizing products just now! hahaha aiya, i bet i will onli do this at most for a couple of days. So please remind me. :)

Went Geylang for the Sinma Claypot Bull Frog. Wahhh G-Full i tell you. 3 of us... 7 frogs. Plus a plate of mammi chicken! The frogs are so spicy today.. my tongue hurts! And ya... i know le.. whenever u have blocked nose, go there for dinner. The chilli can cure! hahahaa

Last but not least.. i found this photo somewhere... it was taken by xiao lao ban or pam when we went bkk a couple of years ago. hahahaa pink helmet so sweet! And my face was so round. Just like full moon. But somehow i like this photo.. hahaha if i ever get to live in taiwan.. i wan a helmet like this! :D And hop on to the xiao mian yang.. oh and i can wear a checked mask! hahaa pink de.



Oh ya... thanks ros for giving us the froggie treat! But you know.. i got scolded SI LANG by her... just because my lime juice cost 70cents more than her coke with salt.

Feeling Occupied!

i overslept this morning. pam smsed to ask me to reach marie's hse by 12nn.. and i onli saw e sms at 11.20am. GONER. rushed to bathe and get changed! and i forgot to reply pam.. made her worried! marie said they were discussing what's the backup plan, should i oversleep till 1pm! hahahaa anyway, things went well. pam came over to fetch me to paradiz centre. or was it peace centre? either one.

I think pam and xiao lao ban are really a cute couple. xiao lao ban behaves differently in front of pam.. more lively.. more adorable. so is pam. SO CUTE!

Ya.. we had our lunch at Ju Ju ... it's a jap steamboat restaurant. And the service there is really thumbs up.



i guess these are the appetizer? cha soba as appetizer? hahaa



No wonder ros kept talking about the 70% cooked egg while we ate at Tampopo... i finally taste it! And it is extremely delicious!



Each of us has a pot to ourselves and we gotta order a set of ingredients. Pam ordered seafood set, xiao lao ban ordered mutton set, marie fish set, ltc beef set and me... PORKIE set. :)

For the first time, im blogging using my handphone. Coool but it's rather difficult to upload photos! :(

Just wanna say.... If i ever quit my current job, i would really wanna work as a secretary. not a wise choice i know.. But... Hahaha i just wanna try. Worse come to worst, full time tutor. That sounds good too! Coz i get to wake up LATE.

Healthy Lifestyle, YES i do!

I'm finally leading a healthy lifestyle. Went for a Step Workout lesson despite the bodyache! It was meant for beginners and so the pace was pretty good. All three of us managed to follow the class. Simple steps but we sweated alot!

I've got a question! Is sweating equivalent to exercising? Answer me.

Went Badminton on Monday, ya 21 sep in case you've lost track! heee. Almost full attendance.. we have me, xt, ros, mh n kel. short of sal. My wrists were very painful and i couldnt play tt well. Kelvin was so funny as before... dont know why all his stunts are like so comical.

We are mad. We went to the KS lesson @ Amore after badminton. It's a very tiring and high impact fat burning lesson. Gosh.. the pace is like so fast.. i had no time to even look at others. Why bother looking right? Cause.. i was there. Kt was there. Mh was there. Marie was there. Da Sao was there. And Eugene ge was there! WOW i actually know close to half of the people in the room! So HOMELY.

But ya anyway, i have no time to even peep at any of them! The instructor Francis, is out to kill me. SO tiring.. hahaha the 1st half was high impact aerobics, hen chuan. then 2nd half was dumbbell... hen suan. hahahaaaa

Met ros for dinner after tt. ya... tt's the norm. so nothing much to say about that. OH... we went to play the UFO catcher and caught xt the stitch. she wants it mah. mh, no worries, urs is next k. :) no need jealous.

Okie, 18th! Went to the Low Impact Aerobics Class with mh and kt. They left halfway to go gym, leaving me alone, flying here and there and catching no ball. I dont really like the instructor Jade... she's too fast and she did not cater to the needs of everyone. No wonder everyone behind is lost! Ya, so WE will never attend her lesson again. (hahaha i decided on this on behalf of mh n kt too)

Saw Eugene ge and Da Sao @ Amore. So sweet right.. a newly wed couple join amore together... cool. Ya as usual, i couldnt stop talking to eugene ge... and while i was so engrossed in the conversation, mh n kt signed up for the Amore package!

Chionged home... bathed and headed to kallang leisure park to ice skate! I've been wanting to go! It has been 10 years since i last skated. Well, the session had been fun! I concentrated on skating k! And after several rounds, the fear subsided. Heee... there's this classic scene and reaction by joel. Hahaha i think i will rem it for life! :D Bryan and kh are pretty good with ice skating.. they could go very fast. With the wind blowing towards u in the rink.. the feeling is... SHUANG. :P

Ros and i went supper after that. That's my dinner actually. Jue Shi Hao Wan, yummy!

Had a nice nice nice nice sleep... 15hours i think? Till 5pm. POWER SLEEP. Fully charged.

Met Bryan for dinner and movie @ Marina Square. We've got 2hours in between and i thought it would be so difficult for time to past.. but luckily it wasnt bored at all. Must be bryan too talkative. hahahaa

Ya what show? PHOBIA 2. Why that show? I also dont know why i ended up there la. Dont ask me if it is worth watching or not.. i covered my face w my sweater most of the time. BUT i know what's happening OKIE? Aiya, you better dont watch.

hihi...rosalind here...this is my 1st post on gina's blog... Here's my catch for the day... =)

My 17th..


Struggled to go work this morning.. I could hardly keep my eyes open while driving to work! So i was quite happy to know that the floor is wet. That means.. no assembly! Hahaaha.


I had been taking naps during work but that's not considered slacking. I did all my work before i get off work everyday! Anyway, is there any way to keep urself awake? Teach me please!


I'm so fortunate to have 2 muffins for bfast today. They were cold so i gotta DING them. And i always think that DING means use toaster... so i used. i DINGed once... the top part was hot but the inner parts were cold. I went to DING again... end up chao ta!! SEEE!







Xiao lao ban came" in... "what smell huh?! Someone making bread?"
Wei en came in ... "wah gina, did u smell a nice chao ta smell?" :D


so guilty for filling the staffrm with tt smell... hee :p


had a chat w mimi. wah really glad to see him back. i like to chat with him.. and i wish he will really drive me around in his car... you know... HIS type of driving. Should i say excited or nervous?! Maybe i dont even dare to step into his car!


the lesson with 4t2 was quite fun. They told me a story of how they sided me and made someone paiseh. I didnt comment much la but im actually very happy within. hahahaa. obi good. gosh.. i think im gg to miss them... ...


went amore for my fitness test with arnold. chou eugene told me that the test is quite ok, not tiring de. I almost died there! first, i gotta walk on the treadmill for 5min to warm up. second, i gotta carry a medicine ball... n squat without allow my kneecap to bend too front out... then resume to standing position while lifting the ball high up. i didnt sweat much.. and i did it at my own pace.. but guess what? i was panting! after tt, arnold stacked up 2 boards.. and wanted to me use 1 leg to step on it... then push my body up to the board, standing with one leg. i almost fell off the board.. poor arnold, he gotta be on standby all the time! Then we moved on to jumping smthg like hopscotch. the pace of this exercise gotta be very fast... i stepped on the thing several times n almost slipped. Did several sets of that exercise. Back to medicine ball again, gotta carry it while extending my leg backwards. Lastly, i gotta lie on the mat while arnold help me stretched my limbs. Gosh... it was very painful. i fear stretching the most... however the cracking sound of my bones sounds.. erm.. qte shuang. hahaa.

Waited for my parents to come home and headed to brother's house to visit MinMin!!! See! She's so cute!

The day didnt start well.. most of us were late. Weiling, xiaoting and i were so poor thing.. we walked all the way from Cityhall to Liang Court! Dim gai we chose to meet at Cityhall instead of Clarke Quay MRT???
