Labour Day

Had a good rest last night... all ready to enjoy Labour Day!

Went to Si'En's house... cant find even a parking lot! So Marie and i had to park far away and walked a looong distance! That's the disadvantage of staying near shopping centres.

Her house is really very nicely renovated and i love the colour scheme! Red Black White. It ... wah... really nice la. Hahahahaa Si'en really has good taste. Next time i must ask her to help me decorate my place :D Oh and she has a walk-in wardrobe!

After touring her house, we sat down and enjoyed all the food each of us brought. As usual, we overestimated and there's a lot of food left. Hahaha, yes, zhong ji mi ma, the game that Si'en hates most. Hahaa and yes, she got the number in the very first round!

Oh, i almost forgot the cake that Si'en bought. This is the longan almond cake from Rive Gauche in Tampines1. It's quite nice, though difficult to cut. haha



After we finished allocating the food, i headed to pick xiaoting up. Went ECP to meet ros, mh n ks for Subway dinner. I was already so full, ended up sharing a Subway Melt with Ros. Come to think of it, i havent pay her hahaa.

I come to realise that Subway ALWAYS do not have ice. Arghh.. i think this is the 3rd or 4th time i encountered this year.

Soon, karen n jm joined us and we started our cycling / blading session. Ks, xt and i cycled while the others bladed.

ECP was so crowded! We were wrong.. we tot all of them will be squeezing in shopping centres, esp tampines1 ... haha looks like swine flu has reminded them the importance of exercise.

Some people were quite irritating, strolling on the bicycle track. And some were reckless cyclists n bladers... inconsiderate.

Though slow, we made our way to the Bedok jetty.

Cant stand xiaoting.. always so happy when she's taking photos with me! Hahaha ok i lied.

Next, we headed to Parkway KOI to drink our favourite bubble tea. Sat at the table there... it feels like we are those retired people lazing around at the coffeeshop. hahaha. The bubble tea that night was a little disappointing. It was too sweet initially due to the coconut jelly... then after more water/tea is added, it became too blant. But nevertheless, it's nice de lor. Give it a try please, passionfruit green tea with no sugar. no pearl, just coconut jelly will do.

That's not the end. We went on to sing at Chai Chee CC. KTV seems to be always our backup plan when we have nothing to do. haha. This time round, karen n jm joined us.
