Went for the school concert... I love Modern Dance. Hahahaa. Anyway, the concert is just like any other concert.. nothing special. If it had been more interactive, it would be more memorable.
My ex-students came back, most of them from 4T1 08.
This is Jian Ping. He used to have the worst temper... and there were several conflicts between us. Really happy to see him grow up and become more mature and appreciative now. The sight of him makes me feel the strong sense of satisfaction in me. I've told his story to many kids... he's one who has never pass Maths in his life. Last year.. after he know that he has to pass Maths in order to get into the Hairstyling course, he decided to work hard for it. He came to me for help.. we spent afternoons sitting there, doing sums. He never once give up.. and true enough, he finally passed Maths during N levels.
And now he is so proud to be part of the Hairstyling faculty. He wears his uniform with pride. He talks about his lessons with enthusiasm. It makes me feel that all have been worthwhile.
Ooh this is Louis. I'm really glad to be involved in the turning point of his life when he was in Sec 3.... and that's the power of the line "Happiness is a choice". Sometimes when im feeling down, this comes to my mind. If i can use this phrase to change this boy.. how come i cant do it to myself? Anyway, im glad that he changed for the better.. from someone who hates school to a boy who never absent himself ever again. He became enthusiastic about studies.. he puts in effort... he mingles with his peers. And his grades shoot all the way up!
Now he is in some digital media course in ITE and is even awarded some scholarship or whatever i think. His GPA is 4 over 4. That's Perfect. I'm really proud of this boy!
Ben also has a very bad temper... I dont know if he's still the same old him now, but I had been appreciative of him for listening to what i say and not throwing his temper on me. I've seen him being rude, ran out of school, hit the telephone, threw chairs etc.. but never once did he do such things on me. I'm really thankful hahahahaaa. He's a very nice boy.. perhaps he just didnt know how to express and tell others how he feels, what he wants. But look at his smile.. perhaps it means nothing to you. But it means a lot to me.. i made him rehearse how to smile before this shot. He gave me such a sweet smile.. that's a gift i will not forget. Aiya, u dont understand de la.. cause ben seldom smile in class or at home. That's why this smile is this valuable. I just hope he can stay this happy!
Sorry ar.. pardon me for such a long post. You know.. teachers are naggy. And i have just so much to say about these boys.
Okokok... i got SO tired in the afternoon. Flew back home and took a 2hour nap. Had great difficulty waking up. Wei En called to tell me the directions to SAF Yacht Club.. Hahaa i tried hard to listen. And i dozed off after he hanged up. When i woke up, i couldnt recall a single thing!
Luckily i have Eugene ge! He came fetch me after picking Marie up. Heee.. I'm so fortunate! So i better post of photo of him!

She's Si'En... my MDC partner plus my FT. Life at work has been much better when it comes to working with her!

And she is someone that i'm envious of and look up to. Petite, pretty, kind, nice, helpful, humourous, capable, efficient and can handle stress well! We have never seen her pissed-off look before! Forever smiling! It's great knowing her! Oh and she has never ever taken a single MC before. :D
