H1N1 VaccineI'm currently considering if i should make a trip down to a clinic and have the vaccine taken. Actually im wondering, if i gotta make a 'booking' for it or not cause according to the straits times online.. it seems that many have already book the vaccine. So if i walk in, there may not be any stocks left for me!
Already, clinics and hospitals have started compiling wait lists of patients who want the vaccine, said Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan on Sunday. Some of these lists are running into the hundreds or thousands.Thousands??? Gosh.. Better act fast if you would like to have one!
Anyway, for your information...
Mr Khaw also sought to allay fears that Singapore will face a shortage of vaccines like what the United States may soon be experiencing with the traditional winter flu season approaching. The vaccine will cost $20 to $40, comparable to seasonal flu vaccines, although doctors will have some flexibility on their pricing structure.
