Day 4 - Exploring Shinjuku

We made adjustment to our plans because the weather forecast says it's going to rain! Yea... we have phobia of Japan rains. Checked with the forever-friendly Citadines receptionists and decided to visit some of the recommended malls!

Along our way, we saw this! Even newspapers have vending machines! Gosh.. they gotta change the stocks everyday!



Being nice to our legs, we took the subway to the Shinjuku station. Lady luck shone on us... we found MacDonalds without much effort!!

Without much thoughts, both of us ordered McPork meal. Actually, it is not too bad, but not that good too! Average laaaa. Meihui was initially attracted to the Shaker Chicken.. but gave up after she suspect the meat is breast meat. Muahaha SUSPECT. Yes, detective mh. :D



Oh i forgot to mention about this fabulous agnes b bag that we saw before heading to Mac. It's small and filled with purple star prints. It's a limited edition design in Japan. The price is reasonable as well. Meihui likes it a lot... but alas, when she finally decided to get it, it has been sold out. ARGH.

Passed by this 'arcade'. We couldnt figure out how the 'games' were played. To us, they are just a different version of jackpots.



As expected, all the goods sold in the shopping centres were expensive. We didnt get anything. We went to this shop called the Donki, as recommended by the Citadines staff. It sells cheap stuff but not too much option. Had some fun shopping there but it would be better if the layout there is improved! heehee. Oh what does it sells? Practically everything that you can think of. :P

Found another arcade.. it is 6 to 7 storeys high! We played one of the games.. you know.. that Bishi Bashi thingy?? Haha the minigames there are different from what we played in Japan.. i had a good time playing though i died at the 2nd or 3rd match. Meihui is good at games, all thanks to her DS practice haha.
