Finally blogging with my lappie!

Just came back from the dentist!

My appointment was at 7.30pm (the clinic started operation at 7pm)... and upon reaching, the dentist was not even there. The receptionist told me that the dentist will be late... ard 8 or 8plus. I asked if this is a daily situation and why is it so... and she was dumbfounded. I continued to probe... "then what for the clinic starts at 7pm then?" She just replied that she already told her colleague not to accept any appointments before 7.45pm. Rubbish lor.. that's not the way.

I took a walk at the round market... which has practically.. n.o.t.h.i.n.g there. Went back and sat in my car till 8.15pm. Went back to the clinic and the receptionist happened to let another person take my place. She apologised and mentioned that she couldnt find me. Please... what's the contact number there for? Arghh. She added that the patient wont take long... yeah, another 10-15min wasted.

But it is ok you know.. at least i managed to consult the dentist tonight! I wanted to get two of the fillings replaced.. and ...

Him: two? no... you choose one. one for today.
Me: Huh why? i want both settled tonight.
Him: No la.. just one. It is going to take very long.
Me: Nvm la.. i just want to do it once and for all. Why cant i do both at one shot?
Him: Nah.. you do one.. then come again. Do one already very tiring...so just one.

I was pissed. Is he out to cheat the consultation fees plus waiting time? Arghh. I think he doesnt wanna do both for me because there's still a long queue out there. But i think i deserved to decide.. i was also one of those queuing mah!

And please.. the operation hours are from 7-9pm lor. By 8.30pm, he is only at his third patient. :( I really dont understand why dentists and doctors must die die arrive late. Dentists still small issue... Doctors should never do that. Their duty is to relieve others of their pain and discomfort.. why are they causing great inconvenience to their patients? I bet the patients feel more comfortable lying on bed at home, then to sit in the clinic.. coughing, vomitting, LSing, shivering, sneezing etc. And if you, as a doctor, know that you are unable to arrive on time.. then please dont state 7pm. That's equivalent to cheating. Sometimes i wonder.. r these doctors really caring and determined to save people.... or out to earn good money.
